Mera Safar is a series of short films which look at the struggles, aspirations and dreams of the youth from a cross-section of life. Ayushi’s Story is about a transwoman who was born and assigned as a male at birth. It is when she entered her teenage years , she got to know that her gender didn’t align with her sex, and that she was attracted to men. This documentary will take you on a journey of how Ayushi found love in this world full of hatred for transgenders. A transwoman who accepted her identity despite facing all kinds of harassment, intimidation from her family and society at large.
